Lithuania offers Moroccan students an EU-recognised degree, a student residence permit and the ability to travel across the Schengen Area. With the 2026 intake closing soon, this guide covers the deadlines, the costs, the application steps and the support our team provides.

Why Choose Lithuania for Higher Education?

Lithuania is a member of both the European Union and the Schengen Area. A student residence permit allows travel across Schengen states.

Key Dates for the 2026 Intake

  1. Registration closes at the end of March 2026.
  2. Early April is the final cut-off, after which only limited places remain.

Applying early means your residence permit and admission letter are issued sooner.

How the Application Works

  • Step 1 — Documents. Send your file to us online or through one of our Moroccan offices.
  • Step 2 — Residence permit fee. Once your file is accepted, you pay the student residence permit fee.
  • Step 3 — Visa and admission. The permit is generally issued around April, with enrolment from June.
  • Step 4 — Arrival. You collect your student ID, begin classes, and can travel within the Schengen Area.
